OK whats the chances of this happening ?

Last week I went on the field where I found the Bronze age potery and used my metal detector. I found a small bronze bar with three notches on it. I posted some photos here last week.

Yesterday I went to visit Mr Red and I showed him my find, my Bronze bar.

He then says, I have one of them!! I kid you not.
Mr Red gets his which has been in the sea, and it is now smoother and thinner than mine.

He found in at low tide with his detector in Dec 2011. The beach is near a known Bronze age site about 6 miles from where I found mine.

What are they, and hell the hell can you get your head around that.It has blown us both away.
