off shore diving at the moment, Northsea. No treasure out here just the black liquid gold stuff. Home soon and then will be able to post some more good stuff. Good day today, some nice finds. One nice cannon ball, a size we have not found before, has some kind of casting mark on it ? this is also a fist for us. Nice piece of lead with nail holes in. This also has two half moon wedges in side it, would of been for a very specific use .any know ? And last but not least a fantastic lead, un squashed ships pipe or scupper again a very specific job...any help? A good days looking.

Saw this anchor on the cliff at Portrinckle Cornwall. You can see that it is a very early iron stock anchor. Look closely and you can see that it is in the stowed position ie the pin is not in and is has not been deployed. This will be important at a later post ;-)

OK here we go then, I took my sons toy replica musket and placed it along side and on top of our "musket on a rock" we found. Maybe now you can see why we think it could me a musket in crud. If it is it would be a great find. questions is: would you of seen it or swam over it ? The more we look x
