Saw this anchor on the cliff at Portrinckle Cornwall. You can see that it is a very early iron stock anchor. Look closely and you can see that it is in the stowed position ie the pin is not in and is has not been deployed. This will be important at a later post ;-)

OK here we go then, I took my sons toy replica musket and placed it along side and on top of our "musket on a rock" we found. Maybe now you can see why we think it could me a musket in crud. If it is it would be a great find. questions is: would you of seen it or swam over it ? The more we look x
